This is the worst place to buy tires in Tennessee. I bought unidirectional tires here and they installed them backwards. After a pretty horrible accident I let them know the cause was the wrongly installed tires. They refused any assistance and accused me of turning them backwards. My job requires an extreme amount of travel but I know nothing about tires. King tire refused any responsibility. If you decide to buy tires here I hope you know something about tire installation because these folks certainly don't. Beware!

Absolutely horrible. I dropped my Nissan Titan off there 24 hours in advance of my appointment for a manifold/catalytic converter replacement. I was told, by phone, "oh this will be no problem at all! 4.7 hours of labor @ $80 an hour!" I already had the parts necessary to do this install, including the manifolds (driver and passenger side). Around lunch time the next day, I get a call saying they can't get my tires off because of locking lug nuts (1 per wheel, to avoid theft). You'd think a body shop would have a tool to be able to take them off. But I said they could just ruin those lugs, take them off and put new lugs on that don't lock because they're annoying anyway. They wanted to charge me hourly for this. Think about that. What woud take a total of 10 minutes, they wanted to charge me at least $80 for. Then he said "oh we also have to charge you for O2 sensors, because I think we MIGHT ruin the ones that are on here. Those are $180 each and there's 2 of those, plus labor each." After looking online, O2 sensors for my truck are actually around $50-60 each. After being assured several times by phone this would be no big deal (and saying nothing about O2 sensors) the price went from $376 plus tax to $830 plus tax. Resolution: I had to just go pick up my truck with no work done to it, wasting 2 days without means of transportation and taking time/gas to drive it to their location for no reason.

I took my truck to Kar Kare on Kingston Pike. Total? $390 with tax. Locking lug nuts? No problem. Taken care of. O2 sensors? Didn't need new ones.

It seemed to me King Collision just changed their mind and didn't want to do the job, at no concern of my time/gas cost and having no truck for two days. Then even when I was debating whether to pay them for cutting 4 total lug nuts off my wheels, they added $400 in cost just to see if I had bottomless pockets and say "okay!"

Just another shady mechanic!

King collision is the worst body shop, they returned the car with more damage than it went in with. It went in with 2 small dents and a scratch and i got it back with a cracked fender, a dented door, windshield molding that is held on with double sided tape, the hood has scratches on it, and they say it was like that when we pulled it in and they are not going to fix it.
