Dr. Fry does not care about his patients, he only cares about making money. I just moved here and needed cortisone/analgesic injections near my piriformis. The first issue was they said they had to use an ultrasound to "guide the needle". Never needed this before so thought that was odd. It cost an extra $344 per treatment.

They also said they couldn't inject two sites at the same visit, so I had to incur the ultrasound charge on two separate visits. Also never heard of this (not being able to inject more than one site at a time.)

I told him when he injected the other side a week after the first injection that I didn't feel much different in terms of pain level compared to the shots I was getting in SC, which worked immediately to relieve pain. He also said it may take him a few visits to get the right site injected and to call back if it didn't work.

I still had some pain so I called to follow up and get another shot. Told the person on the phone that Dr. Fry said to come back in and he would inject another location. I made sure I was making an appointment for injections. They even had to find a day/time when he does them to make sure they scheduled me at the right time.

On the 3rd visit they made me meet with a nurse practitioner instead of the doctor. She said maybe we need to look at another procedure. Seriously, after only 1 shot in two locations? No surprise, she recommended I try surgery!!! You've got to be kidding.

I told her I'd been effectively treating the pain with cortisone/analgesic injections for over two years. So not only did they waste my visit, they charged me $218 to talk to a nurse and get nothing done. I called to dispute the charge telling them I never schedule a consult with a nurse, I scheduled an injection with the Doctor. They didn't care. I was told that I came in for a visit, so I had to pay.

Seems a little fishy to me. If you need an Ortho, go someplace else and save your time and money. This place is a rip off. Very unprofessional.
