Stay away...Call somebody else!

I had a great experience with this company, They met with my adjuster , worked with me through the whole process. They got me covered and I have a new roof- they were clean and timely. Yes I would refer them to my friends and family

I contacted Roofing Professionals after learning of storm damage my home sustained during one of our recent wind, rain and hail storms.

I was contacted by Pete Benson, who came out on 9/14/10 and assessed the damage to my roof. Pete informed me that there was damage, but not a substantial amount of damage. Pete told me to call my insurance company, file a claim, then call him with the claim number and the date and time the insurance adjuster would be out to inspect my damages. Pete assured me he would be here to meet with him and point out and explain the damages he had found during his inspection. I heard from the insurance adjuster, I called Pete and left a message on his voice mail as to the date and time the adjuster would be here (9/27/10).

I never heard back from Pete.

I waited a day or two then called his office and asked the receptionist to make sure he got the message. I never heard back from Pete.

The adjuster came out...no Pete...no phone call from Pete. It was just me and the insurance adjuster. I had no idea what he was talking about most of the time. It was my understanding that I was going to have a "professional" contractor here, to meet and discuss with the adjuster the damages to my roof.

I did get a message from Pete later that afternoon, he apologized and said the had been "held up" on another inspection. Pete also said that he had no phone to call??

Although my damage was not enough to warrant a new roof, I DID have enough damage to be compensated for by my insurance company.

I can understand that Pete Benson may have felt that my damage was not worth his time, since he knew I would not be getting a NEW roof.

But, he could have simply told me and I could have gotten another contractor to inspect my roof and meet with the adjuster. Instead he ignored my phone calls, leaving me here to negotiate with the insurance adjuster!

Professional Roofing does not seem so "Professional" in my opinion.

I might add that my Father owns six homes on the lake in Dandridge, all of which have been approved, and are awaiting NEW roofs after the big hail storm there...
