I saw Dr.Doppelt in July 2015 to have a raised black skin lesion biopsied. He said it was squamous cell skin cancer and did a shave biopsy which turned out to be stage II melanoma.



Sent to an oncologist who did an excision (major surgery performed in hospital) and was re-staged to stage III melanoma because the shave biopsy only took off the surface of the cancer and left a large amount of cancer still under my skin.



AND because the cancer was not fully removed by the shave biopsy it metastasized to my lymph node. So I would not recommend Dr. Doppelt for any type of skin cancer diagnosis and or biopsies.



LAST WEEK after 7 months I got a voicemail from his office saying "We still have a spot that we have not treated from back in July of last year and I was wondering if you can schedule a follow-up so we could recheck that spot." This is the first time that I was informed that I have another spot since July 2015. Dr. Doppelt and his staff are very unprofessional and incompetent.
