West High School offers education to more than 1,300 students in grades nine through 12. It is a public school affiliated with the Knox County School District. Its curriculum includes English, Spanish, mathematics, social studies, science, history, physical education and environmental studies. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include creative learning, music, art, dramatics, woodworking, summer camps and aquatics. The school also provides transportation and counseling services to students, and undertakes community service and fundraising events.
