Based in Kodiak, Alaska, it manages water supplies for more than 30 million people as well as protects the icons of national heritage. U.S. Department of the Interior has eight technical bureaus that comprises, Indian affairs, land management, ocean energy management, regulation and enforcement, reclamation, national park service, surface mining, reclamation and enforcement, U.S. fish and wildlife service and U.S. geological survey.
