Silver Cliff Inn predates the chartered town of Kuttawa by a full year. Today, its charm and elegance have been enhanced by retaining its original appearance while adding amenities essential to today's Bed & Breakfast visitors. It remains at its original site, nestled in the center of the old town. Kuttawa is a Shawnee Indian word that means, "beautiful". It is an apt description of this scenic section of Kentucky--the setting that is the Silver Cliff Inn.
