Kyle Elementary School is a part of the Hays Consolidated Independent School District. It serves nearly 700 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its student activities include student council, safety patrol, student leadership, library assistants, chess club and reading buddies. The school staffs speech, occupational and physical therapists, counselors, behavior specialists, custodians, librarian and tutors. Its curriculum for each grade level is based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. It offers courses in English, mathematics, science, computer technology and arts and crafts. The school, located in Kyle, Texas, also offers a variety of sports and extracurricular activities to its students. It provides special programs for bilingual, migrant, homeless and gifted and talented students.
