I called Kyle Mechanical for some help with an AC unit that is over 20 years old. Don was thankfully available meet and inspect the system about an hour after the call. A full AC Inspection was done, and it seems that he left no stone unturned. What I appreciated most, on top of Melanie(?) answering the phone so quickly, and being creative in how to resolve issues that I had regarding what to do, and when I needed it done by, (was on a tight schedule), meeting with Don was just as helpful, especially on such short notice. What I experienced was not a pushy salesperson that saw an opportunity to get a new system installed. He took his time, looked over every bit of it, including the duct work in the attic and was very unbiased. He stated what the areas of opportunity were, and he also emphasized what was good about the existing system. Our situation was if the HVAC system broke down, it would be difficult and costly to get parts due to age, but was still working fine (for the moment).

When you have an HVAC problem the first thing you may think is that this is going to hurt. Recently, when a tenant called and said the AC was out, I immediate began thinking about how old the AC unit was. Is this going to be a situation where I have to replace the whole thing or would they even consider replacing just the compressor. Since that is what had stopped working.



I got the referral from a fellow landlord and when I called they knew him and said what a nice person he was. Great way to start. Then they said they would send someone out within the hour. Another plus, since in Texas when your AC is out in 103+ degree weather that is seriously dangerous.



Even before the hour had expired, a service tech from Kyle Mechanical had called and said that he had checked out the system and it was just some contacts in the compressor unit. That the total repair would be $125 bucks. I was floored and relieved at the same time. Wow these guys actually have HVAC repair skills, not just a standard we have to replace the whole unit song and dance I feared was coming.



Based on that, I plan to continue to call Kyle Mechanical not only for my tenant, because they deserve to have great service, but also for my own home.

Kyle Mechanical repaired my old A/C unit 2 years ago and did great work. This summer, I had them replace my central air and heating unit, the person who had worked on the system before did not do the work. The A/C worked fine. Its Thanksgiving, the new Amana heater does not work, Kyle Mechanical is not avaiable. If you use this company make sure you get the person who knows what he is doing, the owner.
