I have never written an online review of a restaurant before but felt compelled to do so for The Texas Pie Company.

The establishment is really cute and convenient. Parking is not that bad. However, when I walked in the front door I was approached by a blonde woman with a condescending "Can I help you?". I said, "One, please." I thought she was there to seat me. She then went on to grill me about why I was there. I told her that I planned to have coffee, maybe something to eat and that maybe I wasn't in the right place. She just dismissed me and went back to the kitchen to speak to the employees. Even the girl at the register was unapproachable and spoke like her mouth was full of something.

And to top it off, the pie was horrible (an excessive amount of baking soda in the crust).

I will never go back and will pass this review along to anyone that asks.

Desserts are great. Take home Casseroles are great as well. Sandwich meal are nothing special but for the price it is what I expected.
