DON'T LET YOU PET GET SICK.
We have made the mistake of taking our dogs here for years and putting up with the difficult receptionists and the trouble they created in scheduling appointments. We had assumed that they cared about out pets and that they would help in an emergency. Then when our dog vomited multiple times and was too weak to stand up, the vet told us (direct quote) "We are busy, I don't have time to talk to you".
No apologies.
No expression of concern for our pets condition
No offer to have the staff try to make alternate arrangements.
Just "I am too busy to talk to you."

If you value your pets health and want to be sure they are cared for by someone who knows their history and prior condition, then stay away. Far away.

Dr. Pershing is the absolute best!!! She truly has a love for animals. She treated our 15 year old kitty with such gentle hands and love. The clinic itself is very clean and the staff are all so nice welcoming. Highly recommend Dr. Pershing!

I first went to La Canada Pet Clinic when my normal boarding place was all booked. They were highly recommended to me by my dog groomer and I couldn't be happier! They are knowledgeable, available, kind and have a genuine interest in the well being of your pets.
