Growing up in Germany, Dr. Stepanyan was exposed to a diverse population at the heart of Europe. Throughout her studies, Dr. Stepanyan had the opportunity to closely study the public health systems of various countries, notably the United States. Dr. Stepanyan completed extensive residency training in family medicine at Loma Linda University and Adventist Health, working very closely with an underserved population with very complex health needs.
