This shop is fantastic. They only sell wedding gowns and accessories for the bride (no MOB or bridesmaids) and because of that they are super experts on wedding gowns. They love what they do and they love their brides. They have so much patience and love for understanding for each bride and her particular need. My niece was so nervous before her appointment, and she was set at ease the moment she walked in. We never felt rushed, we never felt like just another customer. In fact we now feel like friends with the ladies there now that the wedding has passed. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you ladies!!! I will tell everyone about Couture Closet!

This is the sweetest bridal shop I have ever been in. The attention to detail, the sweet ladies that run the shop, and the selection of bridal gowns are the very best in the Louisville area. I have never been treated with such special attention in a retail location. This is the way a bride should be and wants to be treated in their dress shopping experience. I can't wait to come back with my friends as each of them gets married. I will recommend this shop to anyone I meet that is looking for a wedding gown. Make sure to make this a must on your dress search.

All brides need to avoid this bridal store if they value kindness and a stress free environment. I am so disappointed that I suggested this establishment to my niece. Time is the most important thing to the owners of this business, not the customer's time, but theirs. My niece and her mother (my sister) drove from Bowling Green, Kentucky to the appointment and happened to be several minutes late. One of the owners chastised my niece and her mother in front of me which made us all feel very uncomfortable and less than welcomed. My niece was told that she would only be allowed to try on a few dresses and must hurry. The whole appointment became an event where my niece felt it necessary to continually apologize. Upon trying on a dress that she liked the mood changed. The owner, along with her partner, became more attentive. My niece, being very sweet, ended up buying the dress (it was beautiful on her). She however had no veil, belt or other accoutrements needed. Once the dress came in my niece made an appointment for what she thought would be a fitting. However, upon arriving at the store (early this time,) she was met by the same lady (owner) who started by telling her that this was not a fitting and that such appointments had to be made 8 months in advance. My niece was told that all she could do was try on the dress and take it with her. My niece told her that she needed a veil and a belt. The owner told her other brides were coming in and that she could stand off to the side to try on. The whole experience on the day was stressful, unwelcoming and now my niece is second guessing her choice which should never happen. The very thought that this place operates in such a fashion and gets away with it because brides do not wish to jeopardize the memory of their wedding is unfortunate; however, I could not let this review go unwritten. Other unsuspecting brides need to be warned.

If you haven't gone to The Couture Closet you have to go right now!! The wedding gowns are spectacular, the service is the best anywhere around, and the experience is beyond compare. You will love Lauren and Tera!!! Happy wedding gown shopping!

I had the BEST experience buying my wedding gown here. I'm getting married in KY and live in the NYC area but I bought my dress here because of the wonderful service. Lauren is a dream to work with. Every bride should have it this good.
