Provided by YP.comWhen we first got CMA internet, we were optimistic about the service. We were promised a guaranteed 6mb/second and the price was $50. The first couple of months were alright despite only getting up to 3mb/second but then we started noticing a dramatic reduction in our internet speed. We went from an average of 3 mb/sec (only half of our guaranteed 6) to 2mb/sec.
This continued for another couple months until we were not even able to get 1 mb/sec. For 6 months straight we never got more than 1 mb/ sec which kept us from watching YouTube and Netflix. We called customer support dozens of times and were told it was a bandwidth issue that would soon be fixed.
After being dragged along for 6 months, they told us the bandwidth issue was resolved and speeds would be increased, yet we saw no speed difference. Finally, they admitted they had been THROTTLING us, claiming that we "might have been taking up too much data" the first couple months of use. They only admitted to this fact AFTER we demanded cancellation. This is completely unacceptable and if not illegal, it is certainly grounds for a complaint to the Better Business Bureau as our service was misrepresented to us.
I could not in good conscience recommend this company for use for anyone. They are deceitful, unhelpful, and most definitely not worth the price that you pay. Do not use them.
