Enter our 150-year-old building and you will be enveloped in color, hundreds of bolts of fabric and an almost endless array of yarn. The Quilted Skein maintains a full library of designer textiles, products and patterns from such fabric innovators as, Kaffe Fassett, Marcia Derse, Jinny Beyer, RJR, Windham, and Island Batiks to name a few, all beautifully displayed in custom wood cabinets and specially crafted Plexiglas cases that showcase over 5,000 fat quarters. Our yarn collection is just as diverse with many internationally known labels as well as the latest trending fibers from Independent dyers. Natural light floods the meticulously restored and architecturally stunning space washing over the 13-foot project table where creative vision reigns.
