Just had a truly remarkable experience at best buy la Jolla. As I need a new phone, I walked in and went directly to the cell department. There was one employee, seated at the desk, helping a woman who was talking to him. I'm not in a hurry, so I walk around and review the selection. I finally found the new moto I was looking for and spent probably three minutes checking it out. I went back to the counter, and the guy didn't even acknowledge my existence, as he continued to help his customer. So I returned to the display and waited. I'm n that time period, probably four different employees walked by or looked over at me, but no one came over. Going back to the counter, I waited a few minutes, while the employee helped his customer, and studiously ignored me. Not even a glance to acknowledge me, or say "gimme a sec", nothing. So I walked over to the geek squad counter where two employees were standing, working together. Stood there for about a minute before one finally looked over and in a very exasperated, annoyed tone, asked, "do you have a question?" No greeting, no attempt at pleasantries. When I asked if someone could help me in the cell department, he told me to talk to the guy who worked there. I said he was busy, and was there anyone else who could help. He rolled his eyes and said that the person working in that department would help me. Repeating that he was busy, I repeated my question and confirmed that no one in the store would help. He said that was right, no one bu he would help, then turned back to his coworker, and ignored me. So I left.
