Ian Grover, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician who specializes in undersea and hyperbaric medicine. His expertise includes preventing and treating disease and injury in divers and other individuals working in altered atmospheric conditions. His research interests include the treatment of headaches in the emergency department and hyperbaric oxygen therapy for preconditioning.Dr. Grover completed a fellowship in hyperbaric medicine at UC San Diego School of Medicine and a residency in emergency medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C. Prior to his residency, Dr. Grover served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Navy for three years. He earned his medical degree from University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.
