Rebecca Sell, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician. She treats people with chronic lung disease and cares for patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Sell also is the associate program director for internal medicine at UC San Diego Health as well as medical director of resuscitation. As an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine, Dr. Sell trains interns, residents and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Her research interests include cardiac arrest and resuscitation, quality improvement and medical education. Dr. Sell completed her fellowship in pulmonary medicine at UC San Diego School of Medicine, where she did her residency in internal medicine and served as chief resident. She earned her medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. She is board certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine and internal medicine. She is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, American Heart Association and American College of Critical Care Medicine.
