AVOID AT ALL COSTSlI! This place specializes on taking advantage of the computer

illiterate. I had my mother bring a laptop in to them with a broken screen and some

issues with windows operation. They must have thought she looked gullible, because

from that point, they tried to find every way to run up the bill. When the computer was

dropped off at their shop, it was working with an auxiliary screen which "stopped

working" as soon as they took possession of it. They then notified her that it would take

a new screen to determine if the hard drive was functional and that there was no way to

test it. In order to order a new screen they couldn't simply order the part number, they

needed 2 hours ($70) to take apart the computer and find the screen number to "make

sure it's the right one". Then, they would order a new screen (roughly estimated

between $100-300) and incur more labor for installation. They could then proceed to

looking at windows. When I went turned down these services and went to pick up the

computer, they took a good 5 minutes to "find" it in their small shop, and could be

audibly heard whispering about us from their back room* I got the whole situation

resolved at another shop who gladly tested the hard drive for me and ordered a new

screen directly from the parts number and installed it. The whole fix cost $130 including

parts. Go elsewhere!
