Provided by YP.comnever expected to get exquisite service from a used car dealership, Nick and Leslie at Nicks Auto was 100% honest with my wife and I, Leslie followed up with us after the sale to ensure our complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend the dealership because of their superb customer service and auto selection. Leslie also introduced us to the owner Nick who was very upfront and very courteous, The employees at Nicks treated my wife and I as if we were family. I would highly recommend checking out Nicks Auto on your next vehicle purchase. You will not regret it!

Provided by YP.comThis is a review on the quality of service, rather than the vehicle as a deal could not be made.
Customer service was lackluster, salesmen was not knowledgeable about the vehicle advertised, and made the remark that he does not work there enough to know about the cars they sell.
The salesman had made an offer to me but pulled back and rejected the price when we had accepted the offer. He was also condescending, making remarks indicating his concern about the transmission and how buyers did not know how to drive a manual transmission, though when he got into the car to reposition it into the lot, he stalled the car in reverse gear.
The vehicle we were looking at was not being sold as advertised. One example was that the car was advertised with fog lights, but the fog lights were not even in working condition amongst other features.
This dealership has successfully wasted our the time invested into the purchase of a car, in the end they could not meet the offer that they had made, I implore to anyone reading this review to READ ALL OTHER REVIEWS FOR THIS DEALERSHIP AS THEY ARE ACCURATE.
It should also be noted, that any positive reviews for this dealership were most likely made by employee's, and it is blatant by the wording used, short and generic.
Find another dealership that will actually meet the offers they make, rather than just wasting your time.

Provided by YP.comI truly, honestly, whole-heartedly believe that anyone who gives this place 5 stars is an employee or close family/friend trying to save this business. I don't know why it's not out of business yet, BBB obviously hasn't caught wind.
They're dishonest. Straight up, flat out, dishonest. There's no reason why you should buy your car here, take your business elsewhere. 50% of people rating it on here "love" it and 50% "hate" it- why take your chances?
I didn't see ANY reviews about this place anywhere until I finally posted one years ago, and have tried to place a review on any and every website since to save people from making a mistake. Buying from here was a big mistake, and my pocketbook is paying for it on a monthly basis over 2.5 years later. The car is a crap-shoot, and I should've realized that about the type of car I bought. But the service was horrible in regards to getting the car title and registration. They either A. Have a completely flawed and disorganized system or B. They do a terrible job of lying.
Just save yourself the trouble. If you can't decide whether or not to buy here, just don't. It's not worth the risk or the extra money you'll pay in the long run.

Provided by YP.comI have to say that I didn’t know you could have fun buying a car. From the time we opened our car door we were greeted with smiles and offered coffee. The salesman was as nice as could be. All the employees spoke when they passed us, and asked if we needed anything. They were able to get a real good interest rate for us so we could get a low payment. While we were going through the process everthing was explained so we did not have to wonder what was going on. We have bought a lot of cars over the past 40 years and I now know that I will be purchasing all of my cars from this dealer. If you want to be treated right and get the best deal I would suggest you try them before going anywhere else.

Provided by YP.comGreat Experience! I was able to purchase my new car easily and at a great price 2 months ago. They were very flexible with the price and made it a pleasant buying experience. I just came in for service and it was even better. Was in and out before I knew it and they didn't try to "upsell" me on useless services. Highly recommend!

Provided by YP.comDO NOT BUY HERE! WE were sold a car that had been TOTALED and made to look decent to a non mechanic. THERE IS FRAME DAMAGE THAT WAS NOT DISCLOSED(ILLEGAL) ALL BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS WERE BELOW MINIMUM SAFETY GUIDELINES BRAKE LINE DAMAGED FROM IMPROPER INSTILLATION UNDER THE BROKEN BRACKET THAT HOLDS ON SUSPENSION RADIATOR IS DAMAGED! CALLED AND WAS TOLD NOTHING WAS COVERED!
I don't care that we bought a used car. We expected a couple minor things to need attention, NOT TO BE SOLD A DEATH TRAP! We have two children, who were at the dealership WITH US and allowed to get into the car. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS MORE WORRIED ABOUT THE DOLLAR THAN THE SAFETY OF ITS CLIENTS??
RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

Provided by YP.comBryan please carefully select the words you choose when posting online especially when accusing a company as a whole of being racist Nicks Auto Group has a highly diversified multicultural workforce (race & gender) and to make such a statement is really in poor taste. The smog form and registration were mailed to the address you provided us with initially and the title will be coming from the DMV. I had agreed to replace a running light and recharge air conditioning both of which were completed before delivery of the vehicle. This was a $4000 vehicle. The sunroof being fixed was not something I agreed to do I took into account the fact it did not work and discounted the price of vehicle accordingly. I find it unfair and unfortunate that you made such a complaint about Nicks Auto Group as a whole because At no time did you ask to speak with the owner or myself. The 1st we heard of your issue was in a complaint filed with the BBB. Our response was for you to bring in the vehicle and we will diagnose the problem which it states in the Due Bill I hope you can understand I cant do more than I said I would do originally so we will extended the expiration date for you. Please give us a call and feel free to bring in vehicle anytime Mon-Fri.

Provided by YP.comI bought a red 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Nick's Auto Group on 8/9/2011 from the salesman Alex. I am a new to the area and just moved to 29 Palms, CA due to my military service. I wanted a reliable vehicle at an affordable price. I saw the Jeep advertised in Auto Trader.Com and drove down from 29 Palms to view it. I was hopeful that I was making a good purchase; even though Alex was unprofessional in his dealings (he made negative comments about the African American family that owned the car before). From the outside, the vehicle looked great. I wanted to buy the vehicle that day after I negotiated the price and a few repairs I wanted made. I walked out the door with the vehicle and a "due bill" to have the sunroof repaired at no cost. Since I live in 29 Palms, I called Alex of Nick's Auto Group on 8/20/2011 to advise him that I would be in the San Diego area and that I wanted my sunroof to be looked at and repaired. He then told me that he could not help me because he had to wait for the owner to return from a trip. At that time I understood and would wait to have the service repaired on another date. I emailed Nick's Auto Group ([email protected]) on 8/24/2011 to request the smog certificate to be mailed to me to register the vehicle on the military base. I received no response. I emailed Nick's Auto Group again on September 8, 2011 to request the smog paperwork and to remind Alex of the sunroof repair. In both cases, I received no response from Nick's Auto Group. At this point I was upset with the lack of communication and called Nick's Auto Group. On September 10, 2011, I talked to Alex on the phone. I told him that I want to come down and have the sunroof repaired. He took down my information and said he would call me back. Two hours later on that same day, I had not received a call back from Alex, so I called the dealership again and was told that Alex was busy and I left a message for him to call. Today on September 12, 2011, I still did not receive a returned call from Alex. I called Nick's Auto Group and finally spoke with Alex. After all the pain and bad customer service I received, Alex then tells me that the "due bill" to repair the sunroof is now void because the "due bill" was only good until 9/9/2011. Clearly I made at least (2) attempts to fix the sunroof problem and because of Alex's delay, I was not able to be at the dealership before 9/9/2011. At this point, I am researching my legal options with military lawyers to pursue payment from Nick's Auto Group for my unserviceable sunroof. I also want to mention that I have not received the vehicle title yet. Hopefully it comes soon. IN THE END, MY RECOMMENDATION TO YOU IS NOT TO PURCHASE FROM NICK'S AUTO GROUP. NOT ONLY BECAUSE THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THIS U.S. MARINE, BUT BECAUSE THEY ARE INEFFECTIVE AT RUNNING A REPUTABLE BUSINESS.

Provided by YP.comNicks Auto group promise me that they would take care of any problems with the car within the first 30 days, but as soon as they got my check from the bank, the owner has been rude to me and has refused to do anything about keeping his promises that were made by his sales manager. I am filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau.
