I moved to LaPlace in 2002 and visited this congregation. Everyone was nice but what I could'nt figure out was, why I was there only one race in this church. There were no Hispanics, Asians or African American members. All my life I have attended mixed churches and this was the first where I saw a white only congregation. I thought was strange. I was raised to go out into the communities and bring in the lost sheep not just one race but all. What's up with that? I still live in LaPlace but I leave out of the parish to attend church because I can not be okay with that. Do the ministry go into other communities to deliver the word? If they need help with this process just ask the surrounding congregations.
