The staff is friendly but The Owner Joan is ignorant and not sensitive to the needs of the population that she serves. Ther is no structure for the children (at the day care) they just run around all day. I was told by the owner to take my kids and get the hell out of her daycare because I was breastfeeding my 1year old on his first day there. When I attempted to educate Joan about the La Law pertaining to breastfeeding she told me this is her buisness and she does what she wants. You would think someone who has been in buisness for 40years would promote breastfeeding because it ultimatey is good for her buisness i.e less illness at the daycare but she is old and ignorant

Joan's Day Care has been in business for almost 3 decades in LaPlace. Very friendly and family-oriented staff. Great provider of care for children of all ages.
