Rollo Security violates people's rights! Their guard patted me down and searched me at my job. I did not consent to this search. Beware of Rollo guards should you encounter one. They think they are cops. They will violate your rights too!

I am a former VJ Rollo employee and I will have to say while I was there I was treated fairly and well compensated for my time. I had good insurance, and I got the opportunity to work as much overtime as I wanted. There wasn't anyone there that I didn't get along with. No complaints on my part I would love to go back to work for them again and this time permanently if I had a second opportunity. I left this job because I was having issues with my wife at the time and was going through too much, this was not the fault of the company for me leaving it was my own choice.

I was hired for full-time .. once the turn-around was done, they knocked me down to 32 hours. They will tell you during the hiring interview that there are plenty of hours and over time but don't tell you about the 32 hours. They told one guy he couldn't work another security job (in house security ,not contract security) , big difference if there was competition but not in this case. He needed to work a second job to make 40 hours since VJ Rollo Security is unstable and neglect telling you the truth. Sugar coating the POSSIBILITIES look great so, they can use you. They don't call you for over time unless you get pegged as a favorite, or you was hired because you are so-and-so's daughter, or neighbor, the supervisors have all the power.Find out while working there, how many supervisors have their kids working in the'most desired positions'.. sitting at a desk with central heat and air. They didn't work theirway up the ladder for this position. Meanwhile, patrol sergeants run errands like a personal butler getting meals for Marathon workers , but you don't get such service as a security officer that's sitting in a truck for over 13 hours at a gate. There isn't a guard shack with heat or port-a-potty . They are too stingy to put a water cooler on the back of the truck and argue with you if you need them to bring you food (you brought your food and it was cold, you ate what food you had before it spoiled, reminder-they dont leave you a cooler with water and ice as other gates have such luxaries). Yes, I brought my own cooler but the ice melts within 6 hours and you are stationed at a gate for 13 hours, sitting in a truck.I never missed a day and took every duty assignment with gratitude. Using employeeswill destroy a company when the owners don't take notice.

I was told starting pay $12.00 hr, got my first check and showed $11.43 an hour.The lady said, I must have been confused.... there are 12 hour shifts. I told her everyonesschedule is different and I was told full-time. She doesn't do the schedule so, her remarkdoesn't serve justification. Secondly, I was told free medical after 90 days, no medical card and her response. Idon't know, will have to check. Still no answer after two weeks.Seems to be a lot of Supervisors saying- I DON'T KNOW. Supervisors working for years and could care kess about getting the answers. A lack of faith, unstability, incompetence comes to mind when you get that response-I don't know. It takes two necessary things to have a Security company, employees and a contract in need of our services. Good employees will leave when their trust is taken advantage of, they arrive to work on a regular bases and you can't give them a simple answer you should know. At least do your part and FIND the ANSWER.
