Providing quality dance training to Southern Maryland -Pre-Competitive & Competitive Programs -Recreational Programs Our recreational program offers classes for beginner students of all ages in many genres including jazz, lyrical, tap, hip hop & ballet. We encourage students to take multiple classes to experience different styles! These classes run September through June culminating with a recital performance at the end of the year. Our pre-competitive program offers classes for students who want to increase their technique through more challenging classes and transition into competing. This program of required weekly classes and mandatory competition schedule prepares our dancers in all aspects of competition performance. Interested students are required to audition for this program. Prior dance experience is required. Acceptance and placement in classes are based on age and skill level. At competitions they will compete in beginner and intermediate levels. Our competitive showtroupe is a commitment to train in the most advanced at competitions. This program of required weekly classes and mandatory competition schedule prepares our dancers for significant growth in all aspects of competition performance as well as preparing them for opportunities at the high school, college and professional levels of dance performance. Interested students are required to audition for this program. Prior dance experience is required. Acceptance and placement in classes is highly competitive and is based on age and skill level.
