Update: just called SMO again. They have no intention of coming today and will not commit for tomorrow. This is not an acceptable way to treat customers when YOUR INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES SCREW UP AND DEPRIVE PEOPLE OF THE HOT WATER IN THEIR HOME. THEY EXTINGUISHED THE HOT WATER IN MY HOUSE AND ARE REFUSING TO MAKE IT RIGHT. THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF THIS VERY LOUSY COMPANY WHO DO NOT TRAIN THEIR PEOPLE PROPERLY AND DONT HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

SMO came yesterday and their incompetent person KNOCKED OUT MY HOT WATER BOILER. Their lackadaisical answer when my husband called them was they would try to come today or tomorrow!!!!! This is not the first time they’ve screwed it up. They did the exact same thing several years ago only they knocked out the heat too, AGAIN IN FRICKING NOVEMBER. The house was unlivable because they caused noxious fumes in the entire house and delayed coming to fix it for several days. I understand it’s heat season but THEY BROKE IT, THEY NEED TO FIX IT IMMEDIATELY. Why didn’t their persons make sure the system was still operating before he left? Seems really basic to me!!!! They could at least give a firm time when they would come and fix their error. Just unacceptable.

If there were a zero I would give it. Tried to charge for a part under warranty. Burned up my humidifier when they tried to connect it. I finally gave up and connected it myself. There has to be just about anyone better experienced.

They came to fill my oil tank and overfilled it. I came home to find oil all over the floor of my basement. They did come and spray something to soak up the oil but no matter what I used it took a month for my house to stop smelling like oil! The second time I used them I had a problem with the service and when I asked for a manager I was told he was out. What company does not have a manager at 3pm on a weekday?? I'm now looking for a new oil company!!

SMO called today to fix my problem. My thanks to SMO and their employee, John Combs, for taking the time to look into my problem and correct it.
