This guy will put your car on the lift tell you he did work not true had my car check by a other trans shop they told me he never changed the part in the trans when I ask loyd how he filled the trans with fluid he said thru the filler tube my car do not have a filler tube it has to be pumped in. Stay away from this shop he took my $100 & lied to my face !

NEVER EVER USE this place.

Dropped off (only) the 5 speed trans, not the car, for a 9 - 10 day job,

33 days later, and chasing them, and him calling the cops on me when i went to get my trans, on day 32 , Yea,,, Never use this place.

Never ever ever go to this place! He is a joke!!!! I took my 04 Chevy Trailblazer to Lloyds on 8/27/12 he told me my transmission lines where rusted and he would fix them for $180. I drove my car home and decided that this was something i could afford so I called Lloyd and told him I would like to set up at Apt. He told me to meet him Thursday(30th) morning at 830am. I arranged for a ride and was there at 830. Lloyd however was not there and didnt show up till almost 10am and then didnt even know why I was there which is really weird and unprofessional. He told me my car would be done that day by 4pm. I called at 4 and he says 730pm I call at 730 and he tells me it wont be done till the next day. I made it very clear i needed my car by 2pm Friday the 31st and he said ok. I call at 2pm my car is not done i call at 4pm my car is not done I call at 7pm and he says im not messing with it anymore im going home you can have it tuesday!!! So he ruined my vacation to go on his own! Tuesday rolls around(day after labor day) and he did not show up to work at all that day! So again i was with out my car! I call the next morning at 9am he doesnt answer so I call the police and apparently he had many ppl calling on him. Finally I get ahold of him on Wednesday and tell him either he has my car done by 4pm or Im towing it elsewhere. My car shockingly was done by 4pm on Wednesday and he charged me an extra $55 then what he told me. I drove it to angola indiana(2 hours away) on sunday. I get up the next morning to drive it and not a drop of transmission fluid is in it. I called llyods to tell him it was broke and he wouldnt take my call his was yelling that he had to get a car done and didnt have time for me. His wife said he would call me back. (I never recieved a call. So i called again tuesday the 11th and weds 12th and thurs. 13th and he will not answer my call..thanks caller id) I drove to autozone and the man there told me that LLoyd didnt know put my lines together..i had a line hanging that was supposed to have a C clip and it didnt have that. So the $60 in transmission fluid he charged me for is all over the highway because he didnt do his job. I now have to take my car to another shop to have my transmission tested to see if his job blew my transmission. I had to spend another 28 dollars at autozone for more transmission fluid and a clip that he was supposed to put on. My car is leaking transimission fluid like crazy!! I have called and called to get my money back and he will not answer my calls! The store next to him told me he comes to work when he wants and doesnt take care of his customers. pretty everyone in laporte knows what a horrid buisness owner this man is. I am seeking a lawyer once i find out if i need a new transmission or not. I have statements from the man at autozone and the other mechanic. I also have pictures of the lines not connected and all the transmission fluid that was underneath my car and all down the side adn back. He always has an excuse of why things werent done and lies like no other!

Please, please do not ever take a vehicle to this shop for anything other than transmission work. Lloyd does well enough with transmissions, but absolutely nothing else. I have tried a number of times, wanting to help a newer business get started. Each time my vehicle was in the shop for a minimum of a week, and I got it back with the same problems for which I brought it there and paid for. Your vehicle will be there for a good week and a half for a transmission also, but at least it will work. For any other problem, please go to another service station.
