I take all my vehicles here for the Texas State Inspection. They are very friendly and helpful. My Saturn has had problems passing the inspection because there were three sensors that said they are not ready. Last year they only charged me the inspection fee once, even though they tested the vehicle five times. The technician gave me some tips of things I could try to correct the problem and I finally got it to pass. This year I was having the same problem. Unfortunately I had taken the car to Kwik Kar down the street and they tried to charge me a second time. Kwik Kar will only do 2 tests within 15 days. Otherwise they charge you again. They told me that is the law in Texas. This is a lie. The shop can work with their customers. Texas can't tell them how often to charge you. I will only do business with honest people and the folks at Goodyear (LaPorte Tire Center) have treated me very well. All too often repair shops take advantage of customers, but you can trust these guys.
