I've noticed that in these "questionable" homes, and NBGA is clearly questionable, the rankings are either 1 star or 5. Totally glowing report or totally grimacing. Someone is clearly and seriously lying. Who has the greatest motivation to lie, I wonder. When I get a clear answer I will change my rating...

I went to NBGA back in 1999, and have returned to visit many times thru the years, the most recent being in 2016. The Lord Jesus Christ by and through The Mac's & their God ordained ministry have saved my life. Claims of mistreatment/abuse in ANY form are COMPLETELY FALSE. For 15 years I have been working as the head paralegal in my criminal defense law firm, I stand for truth & honestly, morality, legality and justice. WE INVESTIGATED NEW BEGINNINGS VERY EXTENSIVELY! After years of their program, our daughter freely returned to the WORLD in her best health physically and mentally ever. She looked very well. Within five months she deteriorated to the worst state she had ever been in. SIN EQUALS DEATH! It sank in deepest when we took her picture and compared to when she came home from New Beginnings. WE ALL CRIED! As the Bible says she appeared like a pig wallowing in the mire; a dog returned to it's own vomit. THANK GOD, she had learned enough to know that God is not mocked. She begged to go back to New Beginnings wanting the best oppertunity she'd ever known. THANK GOD, they took her back. She now says she loves it there. It seems kind of foolish to listen to a delinquent child's description of a place they prefer not to be. It's even more foolish to listen to the news media who seek the worst evils and lump others in. We should know they are both liars; HELLO! I almost never rate anything, but I see here where one has used others to create a false image. I promise that none of the critics have anything to show for theirself. I DARE ANYONE OF THEM to compare to our lives that are highly blessed by God with exactly the same principles taught in this school. To back it up my phone number is (405)921-6403. Every time I find happy, healthy, well fed, and discplined young men and women who appreciate the values of hard work, education, and serving God. That's far more than any critic can say. I am a forty year old man that went to the men's home in June 2012. I needed help and got exactly that. I was treated with utmost respect and was not mistreated in any way. The staff there is compassionate and caring. I was made to work hard and to take responsibilities for my failures and faults. I was never mistreated and never saw anyone abused either. Anyone parent or child that says otherwise is either unsaved or rebellious in heart. I have known Bro. Bill McNamara for 15 years and he is a man of character. I was fed well and my needs were more than met. I was always taught believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. Thank you Br. Mc for a wonderful experience.

Before sending your child to a place like this, please do your research, if not for your sake, then for your teenagers. You have no idea what goes on behind closed doors nor can you imagine. Of course this place is going to put on an effective front to convince you of their good intentions. So did the Catholic priests who are now being charged of sexually abusing little boys. Just because they hide behind the church does not mean that you should trust them. These are your children and they are getting hurt. Will no one help these innocent children?

I am a girl the went through the New beginnings girls academy. All I can say is that going there changed my life and was the best thing that happened to me and anybody that claims abuse at the hands of the staff there is lying
