My kids love this place... They have learned so much there. My oldest is now in 1st grade and I know that she was well prepared for kindergarten.
My 2 year old has learned to count, numbers, and potty trained! I have loved each one of their teachers...thank you thank you thank.

Provided by YPmobileThis place is not safe for children. I had my son here for a year. He always came home sick and with small scratches & bruises. My wife and I figured he hurt himself on playground. To our surprise his classmate told us another boy was bullying him each class. We confronted the director Theresa and she did not playback the video for us. Note you can watch it live but they will not show you past footage. My wife asked the boy if he had been bullying and hitting our son he did admit it. We pulled our son out. They don't care about your kids.

Provided by YP.comMy children have been attending Kiddie Academy for almost a year. We LOVE this place!!! It's always very clean and has a cozy feel to it. The Director does a great job keeping us well informed and involved. Our family really enjoys participating in school events and contests. Our favorite was the "Pie Eating Contest".
It has it all...
There's a touch screen where you use your pin to gain entrance. Gives me a good feeling to know that not just anyone can walk in.
The teachers are Awesome!! I am so excited for my 4 year old. She will start kindergarten this fall and I feel she is more than ready. Her teachers here have helped her blossom into a smart cookie. She has learned how to count to 100, writes her name and pretty much anything I spell for her, knows her colors, shapes, and letters and so on...
The playground speaks for itself. I love that they separate the big kids from the little ones. My kids can't wait for the summer when they can start bringing their bathing suits for water play. They caught the end of it last year and it was all we heard when they came home.
Overall, this is a great place for my kids to enjoy themselves while we are at work. I highly recommend it for anyone out there that wants the best for their kids.

Provided by YPmobileI have nothing but positive things to say about this place. My child has been enrolled in their program for over 6 Months and we love it. The new director Teresa is fantastic and is very involved in the classrooms and daily activities. We love the caring, friendly staff too. The place is very clean and never too crazy or hectic. The only problem I had was that the classroom for awhile lacked consistencey with staff since the other director left. But since the new director has stepped in, the center has hired a great staff and girls who really know what they're doing. Everyone has their own opinion, but I can tell you from previous day care experience that this center is by far the best my child has ever been to!

Provided by YP.comI have my kids enrolled here, and I've been pleased with the structure and the way the teachers interact with my children. They take pride in keeping the place clean and organized. Yes, they also are concerned about providing only wholesome, organic foods. I've been to the programs the children were in. Even though there was quite a crowd to squeeze in there, it was all organized and every time a staff member was seen, the surrounding people were greeted with a smile and politely directed to the right place.
As far as the negative comment(s), I too have had some issues. However, I promptly address ALL my concerns to teachers, and the director. The director flat out told me that she is not afraid of confrontations and she takes everyone's personal issues seriously, and will not leave a problem unresolved. Every concern I had was addressed and I was extremely touched by her genuine concern for my children. She herself agreed to be an advocate for one of my children, with special needs, to see if he can get other much needed services. I don't know many directors who wouldn't have just referred me completely elsewhere, to figure some things out on my own. She is willing to go the extra mile for me and my child.
Though I too, at first impression, wasn't too sure about her "in your face" kind of personality and stern approach to things, I've taken the time to see what's behind all that. I have found that she is a person who believes that children learn better with structure and strict adherence to rules. Behind her serious, and sometimes stern looking face, is a wonderful woman who truly cares about every child entrusted to her care. I have grown quite fond of her and have a deep respect for her.
I also want to say that I don't feel it's right to bash other people and insinuate they are lying, when they tell of different experiences. Who are we to say it did NOT occur? Just because one person has a good experience with a situation or place, does NOT mean that someone else doesn't have a true and valid story, which should be addressed. Every honorable place of business should be able to take constructive criticism as well and use that to improve things. Having gotten to know the director and staff, I know that, should they read the reviews, the things that don't shed a good light on the place, will NOT be allowed to happen again, Period.

Provided by YPmobileThis school is not a safe environment for your children STAY AWAY! I came in and was not GREATED either.. as I walked around I heard someone yelling a teacher yelling at another teacher in front of the children . I later learned it was the director. I felt so bad for the teacher she looked stressed and the children that had to hear that, that's just crazy..And as soon as the director saw me her attitude chagned fast and became so bubbly and friendly. I just left my child is not going to be in that sort of environment. I don't know what happened put have some professionalism at least that director has to GO!

Provided by YPmobileI am a parent of a child currently enrolled in the Kiddie Academy in La Verne. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the teachers, staff and director.....especially the director! You wrote a review on 9/13/11, were you there on that day? I was and I was so impressed I enrolled my child immediately! This facility is clean, happy, and well staffed. I am extremely impressed that the meals they serve the children are all organic. I have 3 other friends that I told about this school and they all were so impressed, they enrolled their children too! I checked out other Kiddie Academy's in the area and I was not impressed with all the teenagers working there, and the fact that their kitchen was stocked with canned food all the way to the ceiling. I was not given a tour there, neither was another family, I was left to see the school myself. The playground had next to no equipment and absolutely no shade for the children. The director of this school sat in her office and made me wait to be seen. This never happened with the La Verne school! I was greeted by the director herself, and every staff member and teacher greeted me with a smile and a kind word. I don't feel you ever set foot into the Kiddie Academy on Baseline in La Verne!!!

Provided by YPmobileMr. Jeep4fun, I don't know where you were, but you were NOT at the Kiddie Academy in La Verne located at 931 Baseline Rd. I am a parent who has their child enrolled in the Kiddie Academy there and they are the most positive, loving, and personable teachers and staff I have ever met. I am a teacher in the school district and I am nothing but happy with the care and safety at Kiddie Academy. The staff NEVER allows just anyone to enter the playground. I sent my sister (my children's aunt) to pick up my children. I had informed the director that she would be picking up my children when I dropped them off. My sister informed me that the children were not entrusted to her until she showed ID and they had her wait OUTSIDE the playground while they brought the children to her. The director is the best in her field. Not only does she have a terrific academic program, but she actually teaches some of the classes herself. She likes to "stay in touch" with the teacher part of her job. While she is teaching, she is assessing her teachers as to whether the children are learning what has been assigned by the curriculum.
I have a problem with you, jeep4fun, I don't believe you were ever in law enforcement as there is no such thing as an LEO. LEO is the Law Enforcement Online website. It is a website that anyone can go to. I don't like people who make up fraudulent statements on things like this. You don't even refer to your wife as, your/my wife. You refered to your wife as, "the wife" numerous times, now that doesnot sound like any husband/parent I've ever met. Like I said I really don't like fraudulent statements. Any one would be lucky to have their child in this school.
