Do not sign up for his gym if you think you may ever need to cancel your contract. While I enjoyed the facilities, I ended up moving so I had to cancel my contract with LUFC. The girl who "helped" me went through the motions, made me pay for a final month and said I "should" be done. My fault for trusting her. Two months later I get a call from a company in Georgia saying I owe over $100 in back dues. I told them I cancelled my contract and they said LUFC wouldn't consider it cancelled until I paid this extra money! Then they referred me to some other company to make sure my contract was cancelled who then referred me back to LUFC! I called them and they said I'd have to pay another month since I didn't give them 30 days notice even though I notified them over two months ago at this point! I've told everyone I know not to join because the people running and working in that place are either dumb when it comes to closing accounts or are trying to leach those last dollars off you

Do not sign a contract for any gym who uses National Fitness. Look them up online. I was a member originally at Sound Body Fitness, and I was automatically converted over to LUFC when the location changed. I had changed banks at one point, and failed to update my credit card information. Well one day when there was issue with my account, I call to resolve it and I had at that point somehow owed hundreds of dollars! We're talking the same day I learned there was an issue. National Fitness is absolutely insufferable. They talk down to you, harass you, hang up on you when you ask for a superior, etc. I tried getting in contact with LUFC multiple times regarding these issues. With many failed attempts at receiving a return phone call, I gave up. They obviously weren't too concerned about this horrible experience I was having. I enjoyed the facilities. However, National Fitness is absolutely a RIPOFF company and they are the ones behind the contract you sign at LUFC. I am now at Thrive Community Fitness contract-free for $19.95 a month and I couldn't be happier.
