STAY AWAY! I couldn't wait to get home and find a way to review this company. My car had a busted rim and tire so we called on Advanced Towing/Recovery. First, the driver was nearly a half-hour late and we had a service shop graciously waiting for us (side review - go to Salinas Tires in La Habra for wheels/tires; they waited and stayed open late until we got there. Salinas Tires is GREAT and they know how to win customers).



Back to crappy ATR... I gave the tow truck driver the benefit of the doubt for being late considering the time of day and traffic. But there was zero communication neither from the company nor driver. We finally arrive at the wheel/tire shop 10 minutes after closing. As the tow truck driver tried to get my car off the truck, he somehow managed to get the right side of the car all the way to the right up against the side of the flatbed, nearly rubbing my specialty rims and tires up against it. In one effort to straighten the car, he manually forces the front right tire to turn with his hands instead of getting back in the car and using the steering wheel. In another attempt to steer it straight, he ended up steering the front right tire almost off the side. I was freaking out thinking my car was about to fall off the side of the flatbed which was still high up off the ground. He stopped trying, got out, jumped off the flatbed and then had the balls to tell me, "It's your car, you get in and steer and I'll guide you off." This was an obvious attempt to take the responsibility/liability off him and onto me. But I accepted because, at this point, anyone could have done better.



We finally got the car off as the awesome people at Salinas Tire waited (by this time it was 30 minutes past closing). Keep in mind my tire was flat so all this extra maneuvering could have busted my wheel even more. The driver eventually did paperwork, I signed, he left. No apology for being late or for almost driving my car off the side off the truck, nothing.



I am going to post this wherever there is a place to review this company. No one should ever call Advanced Towing Recovery. Poor communication, even worse service.

I heard about this new company and was givens card. I needed a 20 mile tow. When I called, the dispatcher was very caring and the driver got here quickly! A+
