There is a Place Like Home I love dogs! It's as simple as that, and I am the proud owner of the friendliest Rat Terrier. I have over 17 years experience in pet care, from dog sitting, owning my own dog grooming shop and previously an owner of a retail pet store. Not only do I know how to pamper your dog like a family member, I have taken courses in their health care and nutritional needs. Also, if needed, I could include grooming during you dog's stay (separate fees apply for grooming). Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover all my life, even playing Veterinarian with my stuffed animals when I was a child. I grew up with cats and was given my first puppy, a dachshund, when I was 14 years old. I have had dogs in my life ever since. I have been in the pet care industry since 1997 -- owned a pet store for 8 years, and currently own a grooming shop, 15 years.
