CAMPING??!!

We went there to enjoy a peaceful weekend. The rules were clear and we were told ONE FAMILY/CAMPER/TENT per site, no alchohol, quiet hours are 11 pm-7am.

The animals that rented the spot next to us had two tents and I'm not sure how many people. They got drunk, threw beer bottles all over and partied loudly past three am. Our camper was singed by their 'very large campfire.' Our complaints fell on deaf ears.

Apparantly the rules only apply to decent families.

I strongly recommend go anywhere else.

Thank you for your post. Not sure what dates your visits were. Our policy is "One Camping unit per site". Many times our guests will rent multiple sites and erect their tents on one site which is acceptable. As for the alcohol, our policy is that we allow "responsible" drinking. We live on the property and "attempt" to make rounds around "quiet time" (11:00 PM) We are more lenient on Holiday weekends but will address complaints. Our guests are encouraged to call our office phone after hours and leave a message. A simple call stating that there is a disturbance results in a prompt visit to the area. We monitor voice messages after hours, it's difficult for us to monitor the 24 + acres and we can't always "hear" the nooises from our residence. It would be a wonderful world if all campers would simply respect their neighbors. I guess it boils down to 3 words... communicate, communicat, comunicate.
