In fact, His spiritual family will out live our physical families. Covenant United Methodist is determined to be "God's very own family" for you and for this community in Lafayette. Healthy families are active, and our church family is no exception. Our families gather for worship and celebrate the Risen Lord each week. Our family gathers together to study God's word. Our family gathers together to pray for and to encourage one another. Our family gathers together to serve the needs of others. Our family gathers together to play and enjoy God's abundant living and we gather together to eat and fellowship with one another. We are busy trying to be family for each other.Covenant UMC has a fantastic foundation of over 28 years of ministry, but with God's guidance and leadership, our future will even be more incredible. I am so pleased the Lord placed Susie and me as the pastoral family of this loving congregation. I look forward to all that this Family of God will do in the future.
