The truth is, you don’t become a Louisiana favorite just by putting the word “authentic” on your sign. When you’ve served Cajun meals as long as we have, you learn the difference between real food and a bland imitation, and our guests know it too. Grilled, fried or on ice–there’s time cooked into every dish and time spent on every home cooked recipe, so that every aroma, every bite, every sip and every gathering is memorable. We’ve spent more than 80 years creating a recipe for something much greater than a place for a lunch break or night out. It’s a place to share (or keep the whole plate to yourself), a place where you always have a seat ready at the table and a place where you’re always part of the family.

The name should be lemon hut, because EVERYTHING comes with too much lemon. Save yourself money and buy the frozen seafood and Walmart. It tasted the same. I wanted to give them negative stars. The waitstaff is friendlier at McDonald's. This place really should close down.

The owner contacted us quickly to address our concerns about the rude attitude of our waitress, Melodie.

My husband and I ordered a seafood salad. There was little seafood and mostly lettuce in the bowl. My husband looked at his salad for five minutes before he was given any silverware. Expensive for a bowl of lettuce!

My entree was amazing and the service was terrific, not to mention their creative drink menu. I had the oreo martini and it was to die for!

The food was decent, pretty commercial if you ask me,but service was not. Was there for 2 hours with my Fiance and was never offered a refill, our waitress was awol and the restaurant was not busy. When asking another waitress for some assistance it was as if I asked for the world! Not really sure why Im giving three stars but hope that this restaurant will try a bit harder.
