Provided by YP.comGod forbid you have a vehicle emergency while on this property because you may be treated as a loiterer, as I was, when I tried to have my vehicle inspected by these people. I don't know them personally but I've had all my vehicles inspected here since I started driving in 1998. Even while I was stationed in Jacksonville, FL, I'd drive down to this place to have it inspected by these guys, and not to mention the numerous people I've referred to him. On Tuesday August 4th, 2009 I was trying to get my car inspected. I passed everything except my windshield wipers test and I thought it was because I didn't have the car turned on, so when I tried to start the car it did nothing, so I figured my battery died. I asked the lady inspecting my car if she could ask one of the guys working around the yard to give me a jump/boost and she reacted as if I was asking for a kidney. So the other inspector/owner(Lee) comes out with a battery pack and tried to jump my car once and when it doesn't work he quickly unhooks the pack and says you have a bad battery or alternator and it's probably because of these audio wires. I explain to Lee that that my vehicle doesn't have a radio at this time nor do these wires have a fuse in them to draw any current from the battery. I then ask him to place the pack on the battery and let it try to charge to the battery for a minute or two. Lee then tells me that he's never heard of that and it's BS. First Lee says that his pack has 700 cranking amps and that if it didn't start the car that nothing will. Then the lady comes out and tells me to move my car out of the stall so they can inspect more cars. It's 1:30pm and I push my car out of the stall and call for a tow truck. My car tries to start after leaving it alone for a few minutes so once again I ask Lee to try to boost it. Lee then asks,"what are you going to do if it doesn't start" and I told him that a tow truck was on it's way but I'd like to get it started so I can get an updated inspection sticker. Once again he tries to jump it once and walk away. I explain to him that you can't boost a vehicle by unhooking the pack just as quickly as you install it. Lee then tells me,"I've been a mechanic for 33 years and you can't tell me nothing." He tries to bring up the audio wires again but I showed him that the fuse holders were empty. His reply was,"well something's pulling current." He then says his pack has 1500 cranking amps and walks off again. Time goes by and I hear Lee being rude to other customers because they were going into the wrong building. He's asking them if they can read and if they need to wear his glasses Then he asks me who's coming to tow my car and I told him I didn't know because it's through my roadside assistance. Five minutes later, it's as if I'm speaking to a totally different person because now he's calm and asking about my car. So I used the opportunity to tell him that my car passed everything except the windshield wiper test thinking he'd be lenient because my battery died and he declined. Just then the lady comes out and says they're closing at 4pm. I was told the tow truck would've taken an hour and a half so I'm thinking it's close to 4pm but it was only 2:30pm. The lady was being a real pain in my side. Now I no longer wanted to speak to Lee or the lady and wished they would leave me alone because they were making the situation worse by acting as if they were more inconveniced than I was and I was the one whose car was out of commission. Then she starts asking Lee about pulling my car off the property with chains so she can close up right at 4pm although the tow truck was going to be there any minute. I fault myself for trying to bring my business here so I'll just go up the road to Frank's and bring my business there since they are more professional oh and my car problems had nothing to do with the battery, alternator, or starter.
