Sunrise House knows that addiction is a disease that doesn't just affect one person, but affects their friends and loved ones. As part of programming, Sunrise House offers family luncheons every Tuesday and has half-day family programming every Saturday.

Our highly trained and knowledgeable multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, medical doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and therapists. At Sunrise, there are several groups that address unique client needs. There are groups for older patients, for young adults, for patients with depression, for patients with a history of trauma, and more. These specialty groups are just one of many ways that Sunrise House provides customized treatment to meet all a patient’s needs.

The staff at Sunrise House recognizes that those most vulnerable to addiction may also struggle with other types of mental health disorders. Clinicians at Sunrise House is equipped to treat patients with co-occurring mental health disorders such as PTSD, OCD, depression, anxiety disorders, and controlled bipolar disorder.

Sunrise House is equipped to care for medically compromised patients, including those with lung conditions (such as COPD), high blood pressure, and diabetes. Additionally, Sunrise House is one of the few treatment facilities in the state of New Jersey with the ability to accommodate pregnant women in their residential program on a case by case basis with approval.

Sunrise House knows that addiction treatment is a disease like any other, and as such endeavors to accept as many forms as private insurance as possible. Sunrise also offers financial assistance to qualifying clients and has self-pay options.
