CLOSED NOW - Opens at 8:30am

Absolutly the worst service ever. The mail person that delivers to Tessera , I am sure cannot read. We have a meeting in the street to exchange the correct mail with our neighbors so we all get the correct mail. No wonder post office is going out of buisness

I arrived at the post office 20 minutes early so that I could have a letter mailed overnight. I waited patiently for them to open the barrier that blocks off the customer service area. I could hear people working behind the front desk right at 8:30, but no one came to open the barrier, so I continued to wait another 6 minutes. I was kind of in a hurry because I needed to be at work by 9:00. They are supposed to be open at 8:30 but didn't open until 8:36. Anyway, once they finally opened up, I was informed that they couldn't perform any transactions for some mysterious reason. They were completely unapologetic about it and so I had to leave to make it to work on time. I won't be going back to this post office anytime soon:(

If you have an hour to waste at post office no problem but it's better to pre- label & just drop off..

Whomever puts mail in the mailboxes at The Island in Lake Travis is doing a very SLOPPY Job,, With only about 60 out of 213 residents are full time residents. The rest of the condos are in a rental pool. If our mail gets put in the wrong box it may sit there for months until the owner checks the mail. We have had to have companies stop payment on our pay checks an re-issue, My mother was in the hospital and 2 of her credit card bills went in a rental unit box so it was 2 months late and the cost of $50. In Late fees. Wonder if the post office will pick up the expenses we have incurred. No wonder they are going broke!! Sorry service!!
