Provided by YP.comWanting to support local business I took my clock to be repaired. I was told, probably needed a cleaning and it would be about 2 weeks. After checking back, many times, it took 2 months before I got it back the first time. And it didn't work correctly. I took the clock back 4 times again before I gave up. I then took my clock to a person recommended by a friend and was told that my clock had not been cleaned or even oiled. That the grease on the bearings was at least a couple decades old. These guys are crooks. DO NOT go to this place.

Provided by YP.comI brought my vintage watch to be repaired to a Step Back in Time. Pat Espe, the watch repairman, told me it needed cleaning and some parts. He had my watch for six months ! When I asked about it,each time he told me the parts were back ordered. Just an excuse it turns out. Finially I was forced to insist he return my property, repaired or not.
The Gruen Curvex hadn't been touched in all that time. As a result, I started asking around town about his reputation. Many Lagunans had tales of his lying and ruining their watches. BTW, if you bring them a clock, they don't mention Larry Squires in GG does all their clock work. What role the other partner has in the business I have no idea, unless it is to be rude and surly to the customers. Beware!
