We booked this motel last minute on hotels . com and I really wasn't expecting much but this place is bad, it seems to be booked up to max capacity which would explain being unable to find a parking spot, and also explain all the people hanging around outside. It's right off the interstate (I-10) but it's difficult to get to anyways from the interstate. Luckily we arrived at 9 pm so my family will not have to stay during the day and night just the night only and we are only staying 1 night so I am reluctant that we will be gone by morning as early as possible. If you don't mind or are in a tight spot for a place to stay then be my guest, but if you don't mind spending more money for a better place then do it and avoid this place. I can't believe Days Inn allows this place to have the franchise name out front, I will definitely be writing a bad review on hotels . com also

The room I stayed in smelled like a really old, musty house that hadn't been aired out in years. When I awoke in the middle of the night, the pungent smell hit my nostrils and quickly reminded me where I was sleeping!



The light fixture in the tiny bathroom appeared to be the original one (from 30 years ago) that has since yellowed. This made the lighting extremely dim and colored the room a dingy amber color.



The window AC/Heating unit didn't help to clear the mustiness. The curtains that hung above the unit billowed out due to filling up with the air that was being blown out of the A/C unit. Unfortunately, the air wasn't readily being pumped into the room, since it was being caught in the dense curtains; I simply had to turn the thermostat down further in hopes that eventually some of the air would filter out into the room.



The bed was actually very comfortable, though.



Overall, would I stay here again? In a word, no!
