Provided by YPmobileI brought my husband for father's day to try it out. The service was slow and the food is over priced. The amount you pay is not worth it. My husband got the shrimp poboy grilled. The shrimp were dry and very small. I got the chicken mykono. It was good but potion size was so small for 17 dollars. The upside was it was 1/2 price for brunch drinks. All in all I think people like this place because they can spend a good bit to impress for sub par food and service.

Provided by YP.comWell, I'm a traveling musician from Las Vegas, Nevada, and I have eaten at most of this country's best places. My band travels and performs all over the United States and when we passed through Lake Charles, Louisiana, a few years ago we happened upon the Pujo Street Cafe. We were thoroughly surprised by the variety and creativity in the food offerings. The service was great as well. "How was the food?" you ask. All I can say is that anytime we are near this part of the country we veer off course a little (sometimes more than a little) to make time for a great meal in a place with great atmosphere. After being on the road driving for hours there is nothing like eating delicious food in the relaxing atmosphere of their courtyard dining area. Oh yes, of course you can dine inside as well. The Pujo Street Cafe has a very comfortable upscale feel to it without any of the hoity-toity. If you want more excitement to go with your dining pleasure you can always go there when they have live entertainment going on. There is a very nice bar inside with a surprisingly upscale wine list. The food menu always offers something different, fresher than the standard fare, and it is always for the best. The prices are very competitive and the quality is the best. If you are in Lake Charles, Louisiana, this is the one place you should surely dine at. Thank you to owner Dan and the Pujo Street Cafe for all of the delicious meals we've had and for all of the ones to come in the future. We will be back to visit your dining establishment again when we are back in your neck of the woods.

Provided by YP.comAfter a LONG weekend trip to New Orleans, My family was on our way home to Houston, and stopped into Pujo St. Cafe, for dinner.
The patio was a refresching calm, after being on the road.
Good music, GREAT service and excellent food.
The crabcakes were light and crab-filled, the perfect start to our meal.
...keeping with a seafood theme, we decided to try the crab-stuffed shrimp, and shrimp bisque. ...we were NOT dissappointed!
TWO thumbs up, Pujo St.!
