This place has lousy customer service. The people working there can't even answer a phone.



Before I drive all the way down into town, I want to know if a store has what I need, so I usually call ahead first. These guys wouldn't answer even after I tried calling them 5 times.



I like to keep my business in town,but in The Dollar General's case, I will make an exception. I will drive to K-Mart in Clinton before I ever buy anything else from Dollar General.



There is no excuse for them not answering the phone.They normally have about 4 people in there working, with no more than 2 on the registers. The other 2 could have easily answered the phone, but apparently it wasn't worth their time. They just lost my business today, and for every day after this.



I will NEVER recommend Dollar General in Lake City to anyone. I'm not saying all Dollar Generals are bad, just the one in Lake City. It's because of attitudes like these that Lake city's businesses are dying. They forget that the customer comes first.



Everyone that works with the public in Lake City has the worst attitudes I have ever seen. Advanced Auto parts is the only business in town that treats their customers right. From now on, I will not bother with anything in Lake City. I'm just going to take my business to Clinton.
