Four weeks ago while traveling over Ortega Hwy. our 26' motorhome started to make a loud rattling noise along with some clunking. With the sounds and vibration it was making we were sure it was our transmission going out.After reading so many great online reviews about Streamline Transmission, we took it over there and a guy named Dennis along with his brother who also works there, took it out for a test ride. They crawled underneath it to do more diagnosing. They connected it to their computer diagnostic equipment and they checked the transmission fluid as well. They said that they did not think the transmission was the problem. Their analysis was the U-joints. The cost of their estimate was ZERO.They were very busy with their other customer's cars and our RV would take up a lot of space, so a few days later we took it back to them to change out the U-joints, and we also asked them to service the transmission and rear end as long as it was there.They saved us thousands of dollars! If they had said it needed transmission work, we would have believed them because that is what we thought was wrong and we told them that we thought it was the transmission. But they were honest with us and instead of spending thousands on a transmission repair, we spent $330 for three U-joints to be replaced.We drove our RV while towing our Chevy Tracker last week to Coronado and back. All of the noise and vibration was completely gone. We are so grateful for their honesty and the great work they performed!This is a family run business and I will recommend them to all my friends and family.
