This company had my personal information stolen from a laptop in a car in Phoenix Arizona including: "We recently discovered that this may include your Social Security Number (SSN) and name, and may have included your date of birth and/or other personal or health information." (Directly quoted from letter).



Then to add insult to injury this laptop was stolen on June 14, 2012 and APRIA did not send out a notice until 9/28/2012 a full 3 and 1/2 months later. To date, APRIA has neither explained why my name was on a laptop over 1,000 miles from my home, in a branch where I am not served, nor the interminably long delay in notifying me about the loss. It looks like the privacy policy is pretty much some decorations on a piece of paper they send out one year, and ignored by at least some of their staff.
