Amy Brownlee completed her undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University and worked as a Registered Dietitian prior to pursuing her training as a Physician Assistant. She graduated from the Physician Assistant program at George Washington University in 2001 and received a Master of Science degree. Amy has experience in internal medicine as well as dermatology and has specialized in dermatology since 2003. Amy is a board certified physician assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the state of Illinois. Amy has received specialized training in dermatology and is qualified to perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, including prescribing medications, performing procedures and skin cancer treatment. She is also advanced in cosmetic dermatologic procedures including laser surgery, Botox injections, facial fillers and chemical peels. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She attends dermatology conferences on a regular basis to remain current on the latest medical and cosmetic treatments.
