Arizona WaterSports has ZERO RESPECT for our OFFICERS! Do NOT rent from them you will be Scammed. On March 8th, 2018 I rented a boat for three days from Arizona Watersports in Lake Havasu. I arrived at the establishment around 8:30 am with two friends of mine. Right after I walked in the door and told them I was here to pick up the boat, Holly had me sign their documents and waivers before even seeing the boat I was going to rent. This was the first red flag. After signing the waivers, another male employee drove us to the water to drop us off in a part of Lake Havasu. He gave a brief description of how to operate the boat, and said “have fun” and immediately left. After my initial inspection of the boat, there seemed to be many dings and scratches. Upon starting the boat, we noticed some of the gauges on the boat such as the fuel and voltage did not work, which was the second red flag. We got in the water around 9:30 am and drove the boat around the lake for 3-4 hours before the rest of my friends came. We drove to Copper Canyon to cliff dive. Driving into Copper Canyon, we noticed the boat was making funny sounds, so we initially thought we might’ve hit some rocks. We stopped the boat, anchored it, and flagged over the sheriffs to assist us. The sheriff's informed us that the water was so deep that hitting rocks would have been impossible, so they dismissed that idea. The sheriff's noticed that there was oil leaking out behind the boat. Sheriff William Poe of San Bernardino said we had nothing to do with the damage, and that we could contact him if we had any further problems with the company. He also warned us not to start the boat, as it could possibly cause a fire or explosion. Sheriff William Poe then had us contact Arizona Watersports and got completely disrespected by holly the owner. Their company is a scam and will be investigated by the Better Business Bureau.

We rented a pontoon and a razor on separate days. Had an issue with the pontoon but they came out with a replacement right away. Very professional and pleasant to deal with!

Arizona Water Sports has been excellent. They brought
us a good machine. Excellent company to bring it to us. Highly recommend!!!

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will be repeat customer in the future. And highly recommend to others.

My husband and I rented a Pontoon boat for 2 hours, however agreeing to pay for a whole day. The battery was dead and we had to wait for 30 minutes for a new battery, while boats were backed up waiting to get into the water. When they finally installed the new battery,we backed the boat into shallow water, not knowing it was shallow and not being told it was shallow, we just wanted to get out of the way so the other boats could get into the lake. We damaged the prop. We were charged $110 for repairs. We were never told that water was shallow. Please make sure you ask and are told where the water is shallow. We were going to rent a 4 wheeler the next day, however we changed our mind. Please, please ask about the shallow areas. We will never rent from them again!!!!!!

Service was commendable. They delivered the boat to the public ramp and they were on time. We were scheduled to pick up the boat at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning. They offered to deliver it the night before but we weren't going to arrive until late Friday night so we had to decline. When we went to return the boat at 4 p.m., they saw us pull to the ramp and they were right there waiting for us. That was great! They even allowed us to get into and off the boat on shore so we didn't have to go in the cold river water. That was kind of nice!

We had a great time and the boat ran smoothly! We will definitely use again!

I recommend renting here..they have everything you need to make your vacation complete. Great people, excellent service, great boats.

We had an awful experience with Arizona Watersports. The 19 foot Rinker that we rented was old and beat up. The side panel was loose, it did not have good turning capabilities, it was temperamental when starting up, and it had rips and gashes throughout the boat. When it broke down (twice!!), we got charged for them to fix it! Honestly, I don’t think they could sell the boat for what we paid to rent it for 2 days. It was a total rip off! I would never rent from them again.

Rented a pontoon for 4 hours. Clean boat. Great staff. they were about $10 more than 2 other companies. But when we compared boats. No comparison. Spend the extra $10. Very friendly staff and a lot nicer boats. We had a small dog. and could not find a place to keep her. So the girl at the front desk said we could leave her and she will keep a eye on her until we return.

All of their equipment in the store looked pretty beat up but we decided to take a chance and rent a wakeboard since it was only $30 a day. We picked out the best looking of the 4 boards they had. It had 2 different bindings - one of which broke within minutes of use. When we took the board back they wanted to charge us $150 plus the $30 rental fee but we managed to argue our way down to a $90 fee. It was obvious that the binding would have broke no matter what because it was old and that's probably why the had to replace the other one.I feel like we shouldn't have had to pay the $30 rental fee because we didn't even get the use the board. The damage was in no way our fault. Guess they've never heard of fair wear and tear and the obviously don't know how to keep their equipment in shape.
