This is the new gem of Lake Hi...

This is the new gem of Lake Hiawatha. This is the best Mexican Restaurant in the area. They opened just 1 month ago and we decided to give it a try on opening day. Since then we eat there at least twice a week. Great prices for incredible food!



Usually my wife and I are reluctant to be the first on the block to try a new restaurant but this time it worked out. The food is out of this world and the owners are great people. For our first meal we tried the Choriqueso appetizer and the Cecina Morlence. The Choriqueso is unbelievably good. It is Chorizo (Spanish Sausage) melted with cheese and severed with nachos. It is so good that just writing about it is making me hungry.



The Cecina Morlence, is a thin steak served with rice, beans, salsa and tortillas. The flavor is extraordinary.



If you give it a try, don't forget to finish with either the Flan or the Sweet Tortilla chips. In either case you will be happy that you saved room for dessert.
