Door to Door Flyer Delivery was officially founded in 2002 by Karen Silberfine and Tammy Rucinski ; who are also the founders of Dream Clean, Inc.While getting Dream Clean off the ground in 1997 they focused their advertising efforts on delivering flyers door to door throughout local sub divisions in the Huntley and Lake in the Hills area. Dream Clean's business began to grow immediately and local businesses took notice of its success and its method of advertising.Karen and Tammy realized that they had an opportunity expand their business by delivering other business' advertising along with Dream Clean's. The concept was passed by local businesses and the response was overwhelmingly positive.Since its inception, Door to Door Flyer Delivery has delivered over 2.7 million flyers to the door of homes throughout Algonquin, Cary, Crystal Lake, Huntley ( including Del Webb ), Lake in the Hills, and McHenry ; and in 2003 increased their full-time staff with Independent Sales Representatives.Left to right: Tammy Rucinski, John Walsh, and Karen Silberfine on set of "The John Walsh Show".Karen and Tammy's success story as single mothers who started businesses was featured on "The John Walsh Show" in October of 2001 ( "Mommy Entrepreneurs" ). Their drive to care for their children and manage on their own led them to found Dream Clean and Door to Door Flyer Delivery in order to be able to stay at home and provide for their families.
