Sunset Cartage, Inc started in 1991 with Don Mueller, one truck and has grown to a large fleet of 50 company owned trucks and up to 200 owner operated trucks. We pride ourselves with our state of the art equipment including six-wheelers, semis, flat-beds and lowboys. We primarily work in the state of Illinois but have the ability to do interstate work, such as Wisconsin, Indiana and Iowa. With our quality truck drivers, dispatch and sales force we are able to do one load to one thousand loads, no job is too small or too big! Sunset Cartage, Inc maintains top of the line equipment with GPS systems in all trucks to make sure your job is running efficiently. We also have a highly experienced staff of mechanics that make sure each and every truck is in good condition and safe for every job. Safety is a key issue for us, we want our trucks to have a goal of zero accidents throughout the year. We have on-going required safety meetings for all our truck drivers to keep the number of accidents at a minimum. The President and VP regularly visit jobsites to ensure safety of our employees, jobsite members and local public.
