While the urban regions work to provide health care to their indigent citizens, rural areas are facing a constant shortage of physicians. Remote areas are always looking for doctors willing to set up their offices in these areas of the country. For Dr. Robert Gross, DO, a 1998 alumnus of Michigan State University, the idea of moving to the Lake Isabella, California area and setting up a clinic was an easy sell. â??Every morning I drive to work on the side of a mountain overlooking this beautiful pristine lake,â?? said Dr.Gross. â??Iâ??m in awe every time I see it.â??. In November 2006, Dr. Gross and his wife Dr. Holly Spohn-Gross, DPM, also a MSU graduate, opened Sienna Wellness Institute.
